Which is a better college for PGDM based on placements and campus life: BIMTECH or Welingkar?
-
Hi, Between the two, Welingkar fares better on both the aspects. Being located in the financial capital of India, it enjoys the location advantage and offers numerous lucrative opportunities. The average package is in the range of Rs 7 - 8 Lacs. Being a renowned brand for the past three decades, it is pretty well-known in the corporate world. The infrastructure is swanky, with fully AC-classes other facilities like an auditorium, library, amphitheater, canteen, etc. Just that it does not house a hostel on its premises otherwise it is overall better than BIMTECH.

6 years agoWelingkar is a good option if you are a resident of Mumbai. The college lacks campus life as the campus is small and college keeps you busy in academics. Placements are decent. BIMTECH Noida has much better, big and green campus. Campus life is much better over there. If you are not from Mumbai, then try for BIMTECH. If you are from Mumbai, then WeSchool Mumbai as you will save hostel cost then.
All the best! -

Hi,
BIMTECH is much better than Welingkar in terms of placements and campus life as well. BIMTECH has a got really good faculty which is very cooperative. Also, the facilities they provide are unbeatable. All the best. -
Welingkar is better as they get a lot of opportunities and also they get a lot of foreign exposure. There are many student exchange opportunities, also there is a Global Citizenship programme and many foreign companies come for placements. Also, the campus is really amazing and gives a corporate feel.

Welingkar, they will make sure you get placed.

BIMTECH is the better option as its associated with a brand like Birla.
