While comparing the NIRF ranking 2023, NIT Jalandhar has been ranked 46 in the Engineering category whereas NIT Bhopal has been ranked 80 for the same. The tuition fee of the B.Tech programme is comparatively higher for NIT Bhopal ( B.Tech: INR 5.77 Lacs - INR 7.18 Lacs) than for NIT Jalandhar (BTech: INR 1.67 Lacs). NIT Jalandhar recorded the highest package of INR 1.20 crore per annum (BTech) during the placement drive of 2023. About 117 visited during the placement drive 2023. As per the latest placement data available for NIT Bhopal, the highest and average package offered during MANIT Bhopal placements 2022 stood at INR 85.36 LPA
