Which is a better college to pursue B.Tech among DIT and LPU?

Hello! I would choose LPU which tends to change instruction through scholastic meticulousness; pragmatic direction and result based education. 1. The LPU infrastructure is quite vast and enough to support all types of practical like the ones needed for agriculture, physical education etc. The lush lawns are very inviting. 2. LPU has all the necessary accreditation. 3. The faculty is not only experienced but is updated with the latest leanings by industry experts in the faculty development programs held at regular intervals. The faculty is academically very helpful too. 3. Industry immersion can be seen as there are seminars and workshops held by the industry experts and the alumni, so that the students can get a fair idea of the market trends 4. The labs are well-equipped with the latest technology. The main library is a nine story building and is well-equipped, besides this there are libraries in each block. 5. Placement preparation starts right from the beginning and the placement and career de [department is one of the largest and best in India. 6. LPU gives impetus to aid research and offers financial aids too for propelling research. 7. The School of Professional Enhancement gives the necessary analytical, logical skills and soft skills to polish the student to the core to make him placement ready. Even mock placement drives are held. 8. The MNCs have recruited many students to top notch positions. A student of Agriculture got a whooping offer of 1cr from a US firm, B.Tech CSE student got 42LPA from Microsoft. About 650 companies visit LPU for recruitment in the LPU campus. Hello, I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I am not so aware about DIT, so I won't be able to comment on same. But I will share my experience, I hope it helps. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Students who were not so good in academics, they were enrolled in more PEP classes to help them in placement. I hope this helps. Good Luck .

Abhishek, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IBSs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies like Google, Tech Mahendra, Cognizant, Amazon, etc come for recruitment purpose. Most of the CSE students are placed in good companies with high package. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered package as high as 20 lacs pa. LPU is better for B.Tech. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Dear Abhishek, Based on my personal experience and feedback from my cousin who did B.Tech at LPU, I would highly recommend LPU for the B.Tech degree programme. LPU offers B.Tech in various programmes such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. I recommended my cousin to do B.Tech from LPU itself. Now he is in his final year and told me about B.Tech programme as follows: 1. LPU has 600+ acres of campus in Punjab and more than 25000+ students study there among many countries. 2. A-one infrastructure- All the facilities are available on the campus. You do not need to go outside in case of any need such as food, hospital, indoor/Outdoor sports stadium, etc. 3. Highly qualified faculty. Many specializations are provided by various departments such as in CSE- AI, ML, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc. 4. Every year more than 90% of students are placed for the CSE branch in many MNCs such Amazon, Code Nation, Infineon, etc. The maximum package available for the Engineering programme is 42 lacs. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The center for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill Sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies. The students get trained in Logical Reasoning, Aptitude, Verbal Ability, and Soft Skills by professional faculty members. LPU provides various opportunities which range from one-day workshops to a semester-long academic course which improves the learning experiences of its students. Lpu has a world class infrastructure. It has 7 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel. 6 out of 7 have attached bathroom in boys hostel but all in girls hostel have attached bathrooms. The main thing is that you have to explore, if u will waste your time in sleeping and using phone in the hostel than definitely u will regret. It's my suggestion at least follow one sports, join for that sport club or acting, dancing as your passion and always try to indulge yourself in something. LPU believes in transforming the India through transforming education. The very first step towards achieving this transformation is by providing a healthy, supportive and secure atmosphere for the students to study in. This makes the university one of the safest campus in India and contributes to the progress and well being of the country's youth.
