Which is a better college to pursue B.Tech, VIT, Vellore or Christ University, Bangalore?

VIT University has better ranking to do B.Tech in comparison to your other choice. Reputation of VIT is growing rapidly from last few years.

Dear Akshit, Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements, etc. Both have good placement but in the case of infrastructure and facility, LPU is better than any other University. VIT-Vellore vs Christ University. This is a question many people face and take different decisions. I personally faced the dilemma of Christ vs VIT. I analyzed the positives and negatives of both and then took a decision. I can share my findings with you. VIT is famous on a national level, while those in South India are not much aware of the existence of Christ. This means that VIT will have a higher amount of exposure to offer you. Christ University has no management quota seats, while VIT has. Even if someone denies the fact, the truth does not change. This means that the level of students in Christ will be at least above some line, while any can get into VIT with money. These are the major points you should consider. Placements of both the colleges seem to be at par on the primer face. Obviously, I am not a student of both, no one can be. So it will be unfair if I provide real statistics of one of the two. Anonymous because I know someone is sitting there, trying to judge my neutral answer. One thing I would like to point out, the MHRD rankings are not a reliable source of judgement, which is clear from the fact that VIT got a rank higher than BITS. Anyone doubting the incorrectness of this is obviously not living in reality, and their opinions need to be considered.

If you are seeking admission in an engineering college then I would like to refer VIT as the first preference. It is one of the most reputed private colleges after BITS-Pilani. It is the best option in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. It is far better than Christ University-Bangalore.
