If you look at the opportunities and the infrastructure for the better learning and guidance, BIT Mesra will be a better choice. BIT is one of the oldest institutions of the country and seriously have a better set of resources to learn and provides a lot of opportunities to you.

Both of colleges (Heritage, Kolkata and BIT-Mesra ) are good but BIT-Mesra is quite good if we analyze on every aspect. But If your budget is quite small then Heritage, Kolkata is better for you because you will get decent ROI rate over here.

I think you should go for BIT, Mesra because it is a government college and it comes under JoSAA. BIT Mesra has standards as of NITs. Heritage Institute of Technology is a private college that comes under WBJEE. JEE Mains has more value than WBJEE.
