The syllabi needs to be updated continuously as you never know when the technologies can be rendered obsolete. So you must compare the colleges on the following relevant parameters. # Curriculum development: Is the curriculum at the university upgraded with industry inputs. # Teaching pedagogy : Your college must have experiential learning practices. More the practical, better it is. # Infrastructure: To support the practical and theoretical aspects of the curriculum # Internships : For learning hands on the real time situations. # Professional enhancement: The college must focus on the personality development, soft skills, interpersonal skills, work ethics etc. # Student diversity: When the class comprises of people from diverse nationalities, students learn working in corporate, team work and cross cultural sensibilities. # Faculty: High caliber and research oriented.
