Since IT is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Hello! I have done my Engineering from LPU and today I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I am not so aware about KIIT, so I won't be able to comment on same. But I will share my experience, I hope it helps. Engineering at LPU is a complete and perfect blend of learning and fun. I remember my days of engineering at LPU, how I use to rush for 9 am class and spend hours on my assignments. Engineering is a blend and balance of book learning and practical learning. LPU creates the content in such a way that learning becomes easier for the students. Faculty members are so experienced that they are able to sense how much we have grabbed in his class. University provides all the resources and techniques to make learning easier and also at the same time prepare the students keep to cope up with the corporate world. LPU provides you with all the facilities required to be a good engineer. I had a splendid experience with the faculty members, placement mentor and officers. Infrastructure: University has well-equipped labs with all the latest technologies for learning and development. Double Storey Central Library, equipped with computer labs and all the required books and curriculum, open for students till mid night 12. Not just this all the facilities in university is worth appreciating. The quality of the facilities provided in our hostel was top notch. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen were great. Medical facilities provided were splendid. Infrastructure is good. All resources are available. College provide Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. Faculty: Teachers were qualified. They have a good knowledge of the courses they teach. They are very helpful and supportive. Quality of teaching provided is top quality. The teachers are really very supportive. Course curriculum is structured perfectly. It makes the students industry ready. Placements: In my batch I remember, almost 95% students were placed and there were many who got the multiple package as well. The highest package was around 42 Lacs per annum. All the students were trained professionally from their first year onwards. The University provides maximum opportunities to students. It depends upon the students whether they want to grab the opportunity or not. Most students who do not have backlogs or reappears gets placed. Hi, LPU is the best. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cyber security, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. Dear Swastik Pati, Both KIIT and LPU are very good universities. But if I talk about the CSE programme at LPU, then is it is excellent with a good placement record. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students.
