Hello Ankit SRM as first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare MIT-Pune with SRM then SRM is better. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.

SRM can be a better choice for CSE. You can also go for LPU which is very much known for CSE.

    Hello,
I would say look for other options as well. B.Tech CSE at LPU is by far miles ahead of all others when we talk about placements. I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead, with:
    1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements. Compare yourself and take wise decision.

Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU as it has helped me grow professionally and provides exposure to various opportunities in terms of internships, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, placements etc. Lovely Professional University is the best engineering college in India. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, best laboratories, and modern technologies. LPU provides abundant opportunities for students to think out of the box. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty

Dear Ankit, Both SRM Chennai and MT Pune are good but I have no knowledge of the CSE programme offered by them. Being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the details of this programme at LPU, I did my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. Computer Science is the call of the new era. Propounded very correctly by our honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji, Data is the New Oil Just like the fact oil is valuable when refined, in the same way raw data is of no worth. Only when data is gathered completely and accurately, connected with other relevant data in prompt time process creates its significance and value. Education of Computer Science enables you to explore data and comprehend the trend of the market. In present scenario the major backbone of the world economy is from IT & IT Enabled Services. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. I am saying this because my few friends has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good.
