Which is a better college to pursue CSE, SRM, Chennai or MIT, Pune?

Hello Ankit SRM as first preference. It is one of the reputed private colleges. It is best in every context whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. If we compare MIT-Pune with SRM then SRM is better. Now, it's up to you, but first of all, you have to clear its entrance exam.

SRM is the better option. Placement and internship opportunities are also good.

SRM can be a better choice for CSE. You can also go for LPU which is very much known for CSE.

Hello, I would say look for other options as well. B.Tech CSE at LPU is by far miles ahead of all others when we talk about placements. I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead, with: 1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements. Compare yourself and take wise decision. 12 centers of excellence set up by Industry leaders, innovation, design thinking and incubation labs, Cutting edge trainings line SAP and other MOOCs, Centre for professional enhancement, Diversity among students and faculty, industry focused curriculum, Industry interface, guest lectures, large number of internal and external competitions, events, co curricular activities etc. Enable the students to get the placements of their choice. Last year Microsoft recruited student AAT INR 42 lacs per annum. The backbone of course delivery is faculty, LPU has about 700 Ph.D. faculty which is carefully recruited so that the rigors of the programme can be delivered in letter and spirit. Around 270 companies visited LPU for CSE graduates only. Which speaks volumes about the talent and how it is nurtured in campus. All the Best.

Dear Ankit, Both SRM Chennai and MT Pune are good but I have no knowledge of the CSE programme offered by them. Being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the details of this programme at LPU, I did my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good at LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities. It would be a good choice to opt for Lovely Professional University as in the present scenario this is the university which caters to the all round development of its students and nurtures it with care to boost the career to a pinnacle of ultimate success which might be the envy of many. SRM is a better option. It has good placements and faculty. You can also look for LPU, it provides good placements and enormous exposures as well. Good luck.
