Dear Shaurya, Both are good institutes but being alumni of LPU, I am sharing the details of the ECE at LPU as my friend did M.Tech in ECE there. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EEE/ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EEE/ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study EEE/ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop and many more. Specialisation Offered in EEE/ECE: Power Electronics, Power Systems, Renewable Energy, DSP, Robotics And Automation, VLSI, and many more which helps to do more research in their field. Of course ! LPU would be the best option for ECE. Now you would be thinking why I am taking the name of LPU. Actually my brother has done ECE from here. LPU always revise its curriculum for all its courses so that the students should be updated according to the latest developments. There is a lot of international exposure. Also, students are given the option of credit transfer abroad.
