Which is a better college to pursue MBA, BIBS or IIBS, Kolkata?

Don't judge a B-School by its rank as it maybe morphed media ranking to promote the school brand. Do not run behind the CTC (annual package) as it is not your in-hand salary. Do not run behind the 100% placement guarantee as job profile stability is important. Do not run behind the brand name of the placement company, check if the profile is stable or just a year-on-year hire and fire basis. In our time 2015-14, BIBS was not bad for a finance guy where many average colleges push their student to financial target sales job, BIBS did better, it might not offer a handsome in-hand salary but the job profile will be good and core domain based. But I don't know whether the previous placement officer is still with the college or not. Kindly check it. You can also think of MDI-Murshidabad and Army Institute-Kolkata. But try to avoid the views of current students/review, try to talk to 1-2-year-old alumni on LinkedIn/Quora and check the reality of the present placement picture. Try to avoid agencies, Ngos, counselors as they have their own interests to push you in an average college with a high dream and gigantic hoax promise. Be clever before investment.

IIBS is the good college for joining MBA. It's placed 3rd among the best b-schools for the placements. It provides more opportunities and awesome internship for the students. It has well build infrastructure and Greenery campus. Which gives the students positive atmosphere. Academic is just outstanding. Teachers are well qualified and trained. Helps students in both way practically as well as theriotically.
