Which is a better college to pursue mechanical engineering, IIT-BHU or BITS-Pilani?

We can't compare the two colleges which are very different from each other in many aspects. The admission process, fee, and academics. But giving it a try, IIT BHU is a very old institution and it has been offering the course since 1919, the department is well-established and reputed. Mechanical is a core branch, which also favors it. BITS has its own reputation, there is not much difference. You can go for anyone, both are equivalent in my view. If you are interested in the IIT tag, join IIT BHU. Otherwise, it is your preference, the job opportunities don't differ much.

IIT BHU any day, because of the number of labs and facilities available to mechanical students.

IIT BHU is better than BITS-Pilani in the following ways. Firstly, the fee structure is really lower when compared to BITS-Pilani. But if you can afford it then it is no problem. Then, location is not a big deal but it is necessary when it comes to accommodation.
I would say that if you are interested in doing MS after B.Tech then BITS-Pilani would be better as it has an international brand and offers...more
