Which is a better college to pursue mechanical engineering, NIT-Hamirpur or BIT-Mesra?

    The highest package offered during NIT Hamirpur placements 2023 wa INR 52 LPA whereas the highest package offered during BIT Mesra placements 2023 was INR 58 LPA. Now, when we compare with the BTech fees, the NIT Hamirpur BTech fees range between INR 5 Lacs- INR 6.25 Lacs whereas the BTech fees at BIT Mesra is INR 12.23 lakh.

    Even though both institutes are very good, BIT Mesra is better than NIT Hamirpur for Mechanical Engineering. Not only is BIT Mesra ranked better than NIT Hamirpur in Mechanical Engineering, it is also ranked better in general "Engineering" category too.
