    MBA can get you more salary, provided your soft skills are found satisfactory. MA gets you a permanent footing, if you are NET qualified. In all cases, your personality is important.

    - IIM's
    - Xaviers Institute of Mangement, Bhubaneswar
    - S.P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai
    - UPES, Dehradun - It has lot of further specialised courses which you pursue.

    MBA has wider and better career options in comparison to MA English, if done from a prestigious B-school. MBAs can be employed in all management functions in all type of industries, whereas MA English graduates can be employed in education, journalism, technical writing, government officer, clerical services, etc. The opportunities for MA English is very limited in private sector.
