MBA can get you more salary, provided your soft skills are found satisfactory. MA gets you a permanent footing, if you are NET qualified. In all cases, your personality is important.

MBAs can be employed in all management functions in all type of industries, whereas MA English graduates can be employed in education, journalism, technical writing, government officer, clerical
