MBA has wider and better career options in comparison to MA English, if done from a prestigious B-school. MBAs can be employed in all management functions in all type of industries, whereas MA English graduates can be employed in education, journalism, technical writing, government officer, clerical services, etc. The opportunities for MA English is very limited in private sector.
