CSE is better than mechanical these days.

Dear.aajkel CSE boom pr hai nd sayd aage bhi rhegi. Bcos Future is tech oriented. So acc. to scope,career nd high salary is in the CSE. Conclusion -CSE nd ME both are bestest. Bt in CSE...."paisa bht hai"!! Game over.!!

Hi Both are going good currently as these are the core branches. If you like programming, coding and like sitting for hours using computer, go for CSE and if machines are what u like to work on, mechanical is better for u. Its just not the bachelor's but the studies thereafter too that will matter.

Hi, I think that you should take computer science because nowadays we don't do any work without computers. One more thing that I have heard is that there is more scope in computer science. Best of luck for your future.

if you compare by salary and jobs, then computer Science is better ,but in the end your choice matters, because your liking of the branch will make the branch best for you.

Mechanical engineering is called an evergreen branch as Mechanical Engineers do find placement opportunities in almost every sector in industry. But, computer industry although hit by recession on occasions in the past also offer promising prospects for job aspirants. Let's hope for the best.
