Which is a better course to pursue after completing Diploma in ECE, B.Tech or AMIE?

    AMIE (Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers) is considered to be an equivalent to B.Tech or Bachelor of Technology but if you go for AMIE then you might face slight trouble while appearing for job interviews. The AMIE is not a degree course like B.Tech, instead it is just a certification course in which there are two sections and the minimum time to pass both the sections is 4 years, however, in industries AMIE is given a higher preference than B.Tech, but after doing AMIE you cannot apply for teaching field (lectureship in colleges and universities), but after B.Tech your teaching field is also open for you.
