The agriculture sector is becoming more modern, scientific and technology-oriented. Shifting farm structures, changing demographics in the food production system, evolving biotechnology strategies, resource management strategies, are playing a major role in the food production and management systems

The first one i.e. chemical engineering is a better option for you because nowadays most students are preferring the 2nd one which will increase the job opportunities for the first option. So, my suggestion is to go for the 1st option.
