It all depends on individual’s interest. Digital marketing is no doubt a booming field. Most industries invest heavily in marketing. Interest in web surfing, content making, story/blog writing, poster making for sites are some of the skills which are essential for an individual in this field. Finance on the other hand is evergreen sort of option. One needs to invest time to understand the topics like Financial Statement analysis, Cost Accounting, Capital Markets. Finance is a vast term in itself and one needs to master on of the sub-topic of it. In all finance has advantage of already set up job opportunities, known job roles with known requirements, digital marketing is bit hard to get a good job roles with known organisations.
