    Dear aspirant,
    If you are a student who wishes to work as a pharmacist in big hospitals and healthcare clinics whether it is in your homeland or in countries abroad then a Pharma.D course would be a good option for you. You can also pursue Ph.D after completing Pharm.D. If you are interested in doing further clinical research work.
    However, if researching about new therapies and drugs interests you immensely and you look forward to work in pharmaceuticals, drugs and biotech industries then a B.pharma programme would be best suitable for you.     AsIsaw many answers about Pharm D, Everyone have a confusion between Diploma in Pharmacy (D Pharm) & Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D).

    Acc. to me,

    Both B.Pharm and Pharm.D are degrees in the field of pharmacy, but they differ in terms of focus and career prospects.

    B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy) is a four-year undergraduateprogrammethat primarily focuses on the study of pharmaceutical sciences. It provides a strong foundation in subjects like pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutics, and pharmacognosy.     Both D-Pharmacy and B-Pharmacy courses are having good careers. But D-Pharmacy is a Diploma course and B-Pharmacy is a Bachelors course.
    Soon after the completion of D-Pharmacy the candidates will go for B-Pharmacy and then to M-Pharmacy. But B-Pharmacy candidates directly go to M-Pharmacy.
    The duration of D-Pharmacy course is just 2 years and for these candidates the duration of B-Pharmacy is 3 years. These candidates will join as lateral entry scheme.
    Hence it will take 5 years for these candidates to complete B-Pharmacy. But the advantage what they get is they are going to get a diploma certificate.
