Which is a better engineering branch among CSE and ECE?

Both the streams are good as it mainly depends on your interest. For example, in CSE full programming so if you like programming, you can but the students will be in huge majority. And about ECE, there will be many ways to work after completion of your engineering and that too fee structure for ECE

If you want to stand as a professional software engineer then select CSE but if you are expecting a govt. job or if you want to get double degree, then select ECE.
