    Hi Harshit,
    I would first give a short introduction of these branches:
    1. Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering, physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems.
    2. Computer engineering is a discipline that integrates several fields of computer Science and electronics engineering required to develop computer hardware and software. Nothing is better or worse! I guess, you should choose a branch based on your interest.

    Hello Harshit,
    According to my experience, all the branches of engineering are best, but it purely depends on your interest or choice. Hence, before opting for any engineering branch, first you should check the syllabus and then choose a good branch of your interest. Hope, this helps. All the best.

    Hi Harshit,
    This is a very common question on Shiksha and I wish that you do read ahe Answers given on those questions as well. The difference is quite limited between the two as both are a separate type of domains, initially. Computers, whereas, is a White Collar profile which does not demand manual work as is needed in the Blue Collar mechanical engineering. I have seen computer engineering students getting good even great jobs if they are quite capable and are innovative and if they have only the stereotype syllabus learning the degree doesn't get anywhere.
