CSE is better in terms of placement because many of ECE students got placed in IT not in core companies up to my knowledge. But if study ECE you can work in both IT and core companies, where as in CSE it is not possible. If you have any queries kindly revert it. If you like my answer then upvote it.

In terms of placements, CSE is better, but go with your interest.

Placements of both branches are good. It completely depends upon your skills. Chose one which you like most and improve your skills then think about placement.
