Which is a better field: chemical or environmental engineering?

Dear Priya, According to me you should think for environmental Engg bcz that will be our future need industry where you can do something for our mother earth through your innovation and your idea would help the environment from the dangers which you can feel around us. Environmental Engineering is a mixture of science and engineering principles to provide a better environment, to provide healthy water, air, and land for human habitation and for other organisms, and to remediate pollution sites. Furthermore, it also concentrates on finding the proper solutions in the field of public health, such as arthropod-borne diseases, implementing law which promote adequate sanitation in urban, rural and recreational areas. And there will be good salary package too not even in Pvt sector but the Govt sector do hire the Environment engg for their projects. Rest you can decide according to your career aim All the best.

Chemical Engineering is a branch of science that applies physical sciences (physics and chemistry) and life sciences (microbiology and biochemistry) together with applied mathematics and economics to produce, transform, transport, and properly use chemicals, materials and energy. Environmental Engineering is a niche branch of applied science and technology that addresses the issue of energy preservation, production asset and control of waste from human and animal activities. In comparison to Environmental Engineering jobs opportunities in Chemical engineering are higher. With global warming world is becoming environment conscious therefore opportunities in Environmental Engineering are likely to increase in future.
