Which is a better field for an electronics graduate in terms of placement, embedded systems or IT?

Currently, placements in IT industry is better in comparison to embedded systems. However, IT industry has started showing an early sign of decline because of outcry against outsourcing in the Western world. Therefore, I will recommend you that you opt for your core engineering in embedded systems.
