Most of the companies visit both but placement number is good at IIM A. Comparing can be done on the basis of networking that is alumni the number of alumni is higher in IIM A. Higher rank higher network and higher placement record is in favour of IIM A. clearly IIM Ahmedabad wins.

IIM-A is the topmost institute that offer management course in India and also ranks around 16th in world. IIM, Indore is the 10th best institute India.

Looking from the perspective of placements, alumni network and opportunities, IIM-Ahmedabad is a better institute to pursue post graduate Diploma in management. IIM-Ahmedabad is ranked above IIM-Indore in terms of performance in national rankings.

IIM, Ahmedabad is the best management college in India. IIM, Indore is incubated and nurtured by IIM-A only. Hence both are good but IIM-A is a tad bit better.
