Which is a better institute to pursue PG, IIM-Ahmedabad or IIM-Indore?

IIM-Ahmedabad is the best option.

IIM-A is the topmost institute that offer management course in India and also ranks around 16th in world. IIM, Indore is the 10th best institute India.

Though all these universities are good, but if you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then IIM-A is the place for you to go for. IIM-A has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for it students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students. Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc. Along with class room teaching. Most of the companies visit both but placement number is good at IIM A. Comparing can be done on the basis of networking that is alumni the number of alumni is higher in IIM A. Higher rank higher network and higher placement record is in favour of IIM A. clearly IIM Ahmedabad wins.

Looking from the perspective of placements, alumni network and opportunities, IIM-Ahmedabad is a better institute to pursue post graduate Diploma in management. IIM-Ahmedabad is ranked above IIM-Indore in terms of performance in national rankings.

IIM, Ahmedabad is the best management college in India. IIM, Indore is incubated and nurtured by IIM-A only. Hence both are good but IIM-A is a tad bit better.

Hi Kashish, There is no doubt that IIM-Ahmedabad is a better institute to pursue PG. IIM-A is the #1 MBA/PGDM college in India, while IIM-I will stand somewhere at around 5-10 (different according to different ranking sources). The best part about IIM-A would be it's alumni network which is much stronger than IIM-I (given its age as well). Apart from that the quality of students that go to IIM-A would be slightly better than IIM-I. The course curriculum might be almost similar as IIM-I follows IIM-A in terms of its course structure and teaching methods. Even in terms of placements (which is the main criteria for a lot of students), IIM-A will far exceed IIM-I. I hope this answers your query.
