    Hi,
    If you do not want to continue what you choose earlier then may be MBA as this will open various job options and can take you away from engineering else go for MS. Also, in case you are not aware, a good university in USA will only entertain you for MBA with at east 3 years work experience. MS students get entry with 1 year or no experience too.

    If you have done B.Tech in chemical Engineering then most appropriate would be to choose MS in the same field because it will be related to your field of education and will definitely give you a good career scope whereas MBA will change your field of expertise and cateer. It also depends on your interest, if you do not want to go for Engineering career and want to do something else then you can choose MBA and can select for management as an career option. Both the options are good. Just decide whether you want to pursue career in engineering or management and choose the option accordingly.
