After a job, you can go for MBA. You will be able to apply for more.

B.Tech+MBA is a good combination. The 70% crowd of IIMS consist of engineers. I myself is an engineer and now pursuing MBA from Doon Business School, Dehradun. I got into the college with 93.5%ile in CAT.

MBA if you get into the top colleges for the same and MBA with job if you are not able to get through top colleges (as work experience with MBA will be beneficial in this case ).
