Which is a better option among architecture or mechanical engineering on the basis of salary and scope?

Both have a comparable scope. Starting salaries are around about the same for both courses. Do you prefer maths and physics? Mechanical engineering is more focused on those subjects and its very technical or art because architecture is more focused it, but architecture encompasses a range of subjects such as maths, physics, geography, etc.
