Which is a better option among BE and B.Tech in terms of salary and opportunities? I have completed my Diploma in CSE.

In India, we have two types of colleges, one, those offering degrees in many fields like arts, Science, business including engineering and are generally known as Universities, and the second, which offer degrees only in engineering and are generally known as Institutes. Universities that offer other degrees along with engineering named their engineering degree as B.E. (Bachelor of Engineering) and Institutes providing professional courses like engineering named their engineering degree as B.Tech. (Bachelor of Technology). 7 years agoBoth are equivalent courses. The only difference is that BE is offered by colleges affiliated to a university and B.Tech is offered by autonomous and private universities. Salary and package will depend on companies coming to a particular college for hiring. You can check the respective college placement scenario.
