Which is a better option among doing CSE from IIT-Roorkee, electrical engineering from IIT-Kanpur & electrical engineering from IIT-Madras?

    I'd suggest you to go for CSE at IIT Roorkee because CSE has got good demand these days. If you are branch oriented then go for electrical at IIT, Madras.

    It depends on your personal interest whether you like a subject personally or not. If you are keen to take CS then go for it. No more thinking needed. But if you think that you don't have any specific interest in any field then also go for IIT-Roorkeefor CS as the packages and future opportunities of CS are always more as compared to electrical especially in a better IIT.

    In my opinion, you should opt for CSE in IIT-Roorkee because IIT-Roorkee has experienced CSE faculty members, good course curriculum, placements and computer labs.

For students belonging to the General AI quota, most of the BTech branches remained open till the last round for admission at IIT Roorkee. The cutoffs of different branches vary across rounds and categories.
