I would suggest that as present world is full of software, ECE is a better option at this moment when compared to mechanical. But if you are interested in mechanical then you can take mechanical as your subject and pursue a great career. Thank you.

Hello, B.Tech in ECE is a good option in today's requirement and there are good placements in industry. But companies only take students who have extra skills along with degree. They don't just take a degree holder. So do extra courses and job will be in your hand. Best of luck.
