CS is the study of principles of computing and how computers solve problems like algorithm, artificial intelligence, robotics, database etc. IT deals with installation, development and implementation of computer systems and applications. Both options are good, it would depend on the college.

Look, both are best in their field. IT is more advance and after your study, you have to go to 'IT' industry only. In CS, there are some hardware subjects this is the only difference.
