Dear Narain, Both Manipal University and LPU are good universities. Being alumni of LPU, I would like to share the details of LPU with you. Lovely Professional University (LPU), situated in Phagwara, in Punjab, India was established in 2005 and started welcoming students in 2006. The vast campus is spread over 600 acres and it houses over 30,000 students annually, making it the largest student campus in India. There are around 400 courses for students on offer, within a variety of faculty members, including economics, law, performing arts, management, engineering, fashion design, journalism, and zoology. Students can gain a Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degrees. All courses at LPU are taught in English so it is required that all students applying for admission should have strong reading, writing, speaking, and understanding of the English Language. LPU has strong partnerships with large companies in a wide variety of industries, including Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Hilton Hotel. Students are encouraged to secure internships and placements throughout their studies. In an attempt to nurture students' entrepreneurial talents, the university provides office space and equipment, technology support and SEED capital. Being an alumni of LPU as I believe that LPU is one of the best universities among all the B schools as well as other ranked universities. I will share certain facts which would justify the same. 1. Accreditation: As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. 2. Size: LPU is spread over 600 acres campus consisting of 3000+students and 3500+ faculty members and staff. Hi Narain, Well Manipal University is not bad but you need to one thing that LPU is a very energetic and having "Think Big" vision. They have developed the habit to produce Industry ready candidate. In fact in terms of Working hours LPU student will Cop up 9 to 5 job culture from first day. Manipal University is old and carrying ample of experience but when comes to part of LPU. LPU is beating all such records of excellence where they have set several benchmarks for not only Manipal University but many other Private Universities also. Being an Education Consultant I am observing LPU since long time. Over the period of years LPU has come up with very strict admission intake pattern. Eligibility criteria of taking Admission is one of difficult among other private Universities in India. It is just like few of the top Universities in India. LPU is a master of few key salient features: 1) Offering more than 250 programs at a single campus. 2) During this COVID-19 pandemic, sanitation of the giant campus is really difficult but LPU is managing to do it. I came to know few days ago when I went to SEE the campus for few of my clients. We were humbly denied to enter the campus due to this reason only. 3) Offering the biggest scholarship schemes through out the country. Recently LPU announced "COVID-19 FRONTLINE SCHOLARSHIP" to the survivors of Coronavirus or their wards. 4) Online Teaching even in this Outbreak. 5) Regular improvisation in the curriculum after every 6 months with the consultation of many Business tycoons.
