Which is a better option among MA and B.Ed?

I got selected in Presidency UNIversity but my aim is to find a government job as soon as possible.

    Well, in order to pursue career in teaching one needs BA B.Ed as basic qualification. MA comes after that. hence the comparison cannot happen between MA & B.Ed.

    If you want to become a teacher in schools, then definitely go for B.Ed from a good University. For government job as a teacher you have to qualify TET after completion of B.Ed.
    If you do MA, then you can apply for lecturer job after qualifying exams like NET/SLET. You can also go for Ph.D after completion of the course.
