Hotel management would be better career option for you as this sector is growing at a healthy rate in India. So, you should go for it. New opportunities are being created each day.
Some of the common recruiters/places where one may find a job are
    Hotels
    Resorts
    Tour and Travel Agencies
    Restaurants
Apart from the hospitality sector, jobs are also available in allied sectors such as travel, tourism, food and beverages production.
Below i have listed a few types of jobs available in the hospitality industry:
Front Desk Clerks / Receptionists; Porters / Bellhop; Room attendant; Room Service; Waiter/Waitress; Food Prep; Line Cooks / Commis
    Concierg
    ...more

It depends on your graduation subjects. Hotel management and mass communication are both different course fields in terms of job prospects. Mass communication (media) has less jobs because most of the mass communication students pursue this course just to complete the degree, they are not taught well. You can think of hotel management as an option.
