Which is a better option among pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college and doing B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from an average college? What should I do?

I am weak in chemistry and it will be hard for me to get admission in a good college like KIIT and VIT.

Pursuing BCA+MCA from a good college or even pursuing BCA from a good college is far better than doing B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from an average college as in good colleges like IEM, you will get better placement in BCA rather than B.Tech from any other college.

Both are having good career but it is based on your interest. If your email interest is in application development like web, android, programming you should choose BCA+MCA and for a technical degree with good job you should done B.Tech+M.Tech.

    HI Hriddhi,
I am happy that are talking of comparison but it should be crystal clear that any study must be done from a good and well reputed college/ university. Your choice must depend upon following parameters:
Curriculum : It must be designed to cater to demands of industry. Course delivery: IT must be practical, case study oriented, although the right theories must be taken care of.
Training: The latest technologies relating to the industry needs like SAP and other MOOCs must be done to students.
Guest lectures and industry connect: The guest lectures from industry, industrial visits, frequent interactions must be there for student

Both are different degrees one is a professional and the other is a technical. However, nowadays if you don't do B.Tech from IIT or any top NIT, then you don't have much value. But, if you pursue BCA from a good college apart from the top ones, you have more demand than a B.Tech one from an average one. Better go for integrated MCA. Good Luck.

You can go with B.Tech+M.Tech (CSE) from a good college. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is one of the core departments of NorthCap University. The Department is striving towards its goal of providing innovative and quality education with high standards to achieve academic excellence. Keeping in view the dynamic nature of growth in industry and the increasing demand for the latest technologies, the department is starting five new specializations in B.Tech CSE namely:

BCA +MCA from a good college. You can be a full time developer, if you are good in programming. Nowadays, it matters from the institute you are passing. So, if you are getting a good college, then don't miss the chance.

BCA+MCA from a very good college is definitely better according to me in today's scenario. Today there is literally no value of engineering if done from a poor institute. So, choose wisely. I would also suggest that you should try for courses like BMS+MBA and try to get more than 70 percent marks in your academics throughout. If you happen to go to a good B-School after your graduation, your career will take a good turn. You can also go for BCA+MBA.
    Best of luck.
