Which is a better option between production engg. in VJTI and B.Tech planning in COEP?

COEP is better any day, not just for a particular branch but as a college itself. It has a rich history, some exceptional alumni from both Mechanical and Instrumentation departments and frankly the brand speaks for itself. Mechanical department was very recently renovated, so you are going to GET state-of-the-art facilities there. Along with that comes the added bonus of good placements with good packages. Oh and a fun fact, our Mechanical department is 104 years old! Instrumentation has always had state of the art labs and some amazing teaching faculty coupled with the great placement and packages. COEP is one of the oldest institutes to offer Instrumentation in Maharashtra at least. We completed 51 years this June. So, apart from tradition and branding, you are going to enjoy many other facilities you will get at COEP including the famous Boat Club. But in the end, the choice is yours.
