Which is a better option for a good career among B.Tech in CS and B.Tech in IT with cyber security?

    A lot depends on your interest as you can give your best in a stream for which you are passionate. The companies to pick the bests. So decide your interest to give your best. B.Tech CSE would be an equally good option wherein you can also take cyber security as offered in LPU. The concept of major and minor offered help to follow your passion too. The students of LPU have been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters.     It is one and a same thing. Either of two you would be studying under same domain. Cyber security is a specialisation under CSE. This stream is highly specialised and appreciated.     Dear Naveen, Both are similar fields, however these days's many prefer CSE. But I suggest you to take your decision with careful deliberation on your interest and aptitude. More importantly, pursue the programme from a reputed university only. You must invest your money and precious 4 years of life on a college/university of high repute so that you earn the skills which are relevant in the market. I suggest you try LPU !

    There is only a slight difference between computer science and information technology, and cyber security is one of the most leading technology now a days. I personally believe to go with computer science with cyber security.

    B.Tech comp science would be a better option as it covers the hardware as well as software aspects and hence provides you with a wider variety of jobs to choose from.
