Dear Gaya, I don't know about the aerospace engineering programme at Manipal and Chandigarh University. My sister did B.Tech in Aerospace engineering at LPU so I will be sharing the details of this programme at LPU with you. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a centre for space research with a mission control facility. Aerospace Engineering in Chandigarh University is really Good. The department developed a lot and has more to do and explore with the lab facilities available. Its a place where teachers always ask to do something new beside learning about aerospace. These new outcomes from the pupils of the departments results into Review Papers, Research Papers and Patents. And indeed Aerospace Department holds a good rate of filing patent and publishing papers in its Bachelor course only!
