Which is a better option for B.Sc in hotel management among SRM and LPU?

Can't comment on the academics and other related prospects of SRM but on the basis of the feedback received from Alumnus of LPU, I can say that LPU is a good option for hotel management course. I personally believe that the quality of education and placements of the university are the key parameters for any organisation. To provide best, LPU provide the working environment at its place as LPU has its own HOTEL within the campus which gives prolonged practical exposure. The teaching pedagogy is highly practical. The course is meant for students looking for demanding positions in hospitality sector. Now-a-days many institutes offer Hotel management courses and it becomes difficult for a candidate to identify the good institute. The institutions which you have asked to compare are doing good in academics. Can't comment exactly in detail on what it offered in SRM but one of the friend who studied in LPU gave positive feedback. Apart from B.Sc. (HM), LPU floats the following: 1. LPU will be a better option. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

If you are seeking admission in a college for B.Sc in hotel management, then I would like to suggest SRM, as the first preference. It is the best option in every context, whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. LPU is also a good college, but if we compare it with SRM, then SRM is better. Now, it is up to you. Good luck.
