If you ask for honest opinion, I would say Chandigarh University is a really good option for B.Tech in CSE, especially if you are looking for mix of academics, exposure and opportunities. What impressed me the most is the way they have collaborated with big industry names like IBM, Microsoft and TCS to offer specialised programme in AI, Data Science, Cloud Computing and more. Here along with the theory, you will get hands-on-learning in industry linked labs. Another thing, I personally liked is their international exposure. Through their semester exchange and International Transfer program, students have even received scholarships and study opportunities at global institutions and some have even earned scholarships from places like Walt Disney, which is pretty cool if you think about it.

Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. The Eligibility details are that the student must pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
