Annie, LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IIMs, IBSs, etc. The B-School of the university has ACBSP accreditation. The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Hindustan Unilever, Arabol Lubricants Manufacturing LLC, Global Consumer Products Limited, Berger Paints, Vodafone (Punjab), etc. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Hi Annie, LPU is any day better than Sharda in terms of everything. Placements : Lovely Professional University is well known for its placements and has been ranked the highest in placements in North India. This year, the college is trying to have 100% placements. Our mass recruiters are Cognizant Solutions,Tech Mahindra, Amazon and many more. As I am from mechanical, core companies we have this year are Anglo Eastern Shipping Management, TATA Steel, Samundra , Asahi Glass Limited etc. Infrastructure : The infrastructure is mind blowing. It is the same as in advertisements. The campus is spread over 650 acres and 58 blocks inside the campus. LPU has a huge hostel facility which can hold upto 20,000 hostelers. It has many food courts and 30+ ATMs, eco-friendly e-rickshaw facility for shuttle service inside the college, free wifi throughout the campus. Faculty : The faculty is very good and the mode of communication in classes is both English and Hindi. Most of all, the faculty members are GATE qualified and have previous industry working experience. Every class has projector facility. If you are seeking admission in an MBA college, then I would like to suggest LPU, as the first preference. It is the best option in every context, whether it is the environment, placement, fest, exposure or anything else. Sharda University is also good, but if we compare it with LPU, then LPU is better.
