Which is a better option for MEng and part time jobs among University of Ottawa & University of British Columbia?

Hello Arnav,
British Columbia is one of the best university in the world. But, the cost of living is too expensive in that province. Also, M.Eng program in UBC is of 1 year and you will be getting work permit only for 1 year. In order to get 3 years of work permit, you have to drop few courses and complete it in 2 years. There are two UBC campuses. Only UBC - Vancouver is good and please don't apply for Okanagon campus.
Even Ottawa is not a bad option. It's a decent university. Getting PR in Ontario is quite difficult.

As per university ranking, University of British Columbia is better.
