Which is a better option to pursue CSE, VIT, Chennai or SRM (main campus)?

Hello Sai VIT is the best option, it has a very good infrastructure, good teaching staff and a good number of placements. It is a supportive college.

Both are good options. Refer as per you conviences. You can go for LPU, it is best and known for its CSE BECAUSE OF ITS CURRICULUM RIGOR AND PEDAGOGY along with the unbeatable placements.

Hello, I would say look for other options as well. B.Tech CSE at LPU is by far miles ahead of all others when we talk about placements. I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My conclusion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead, with: 1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements. Compare yourself and take wise decision. 12 centers of excellence set up by Industry leaders, innovation, design thinking and incubation labs, Cutting edge trainings line SAP and other MOOCs, Centre for professional enhancement, Diversity among students and faculty, industry focused curriculum, Industry interface, guest lectures, large number of internal and external competitions, events, co curricular activities etc. Enable the students to get the placements of their choice. Last year Microsoft recruited student AAT INR 42 lacs per annum. The backbone of course delivery is faculty, LPU has about 700 Ph.D. faculty which is carefully recruited so that the rigors of the programme can be delivered in letter and spirit. Around 270 companies visited LPU for CSE graduates only. Which speaks volumes about the talent and how it is nurtured in campus.

Dear Sai Rama, I have no idea about the CSE programme at VIT Chennai or SRM (Campus) but being alumni of LPU I can share information about this programme at LPU with you. I did MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is also studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are a few points I would like to share with you why CSE is good at LPU. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade. Comptia, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field. Both are good one, but you can choose them on the basis of the tuition fee and climate conditions, as you are going for 4 years, so these things matters a lot.

Hello, As per my views, VIT is more better than SRM for CSE because VIT is one of the most reputed college in India and having a position against other colleges. Also the infrastructure, teaching methodology, placements and overall development of students are upto the mark. But if you don't get VIT then you can go for SRM. VIT, Chennai is among the top 50 colleges in India, according to the NIRF ranking. It has good faculty members and facilities.
