LPU is better than INIFD for Fashion Design. Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its Students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics, and colors. Dear Prachi, Both the institutes are very well in this niche and very creative field. Having experience of about 16 years in education, I have never seen any curator as passionate as LPU is for its pursuit towards excellence. Front NIRF-MHRD ranking to strong track record in hiring the best talent to programme delivery as the industry requirements, LPU's performance has been exemplary. LPU has best infrastructure in terms of the state of the art labs and workshops for fashion design course. The fee of course is more or less the same in both institutes. But LPU's already reasonable fee is further reduced by various scholarship schemes.

    Dear Prachi,
Both institutes are good but as per my exploration of Lovely Professional University, it is the best Design school as per NIRF-MHRD ranking. The LPU has several parameters to consider. The LPU has best infrastructure in terms of the latest and well established labs and workshops for fashion design course. This school has faculty from abroad and doctorate who are having experience of the latest technology and well verse with trends. The fee of course is more or less the same in both institutes. As per official data, for placement, every year, several companies such as "Gas, Michael Kors, Satya Paul, Genesis, Anuj Lalwani (F

Can't say about other colleges are better than LPU or not but LPU has a good course curriculum for fashion design course and a lot of opportunities are given to excel in this field. As a current student of LPU, I would suggest you can take admission in LPU because it is one of the top university in the north region.
