Hi, Both the countries you mentioned are among the finest study destination to pursue masters degree. US is considered best for pursuing masters degree in computer science, embedded systems, VLSI etc, whereas Germany is the best study destination to pursue masters degree in mechanical engineering and related fields. As you are interested in pursuing MS in embedded system so in that case US would be a better option as compared to Germany however you may surely pursue this course from Germany as well. Please note that US is the best study destination to pursue MS degree, but the cost of education in US universities in very high as compared to universities in Germany plus getting a US VISA is very tough, but job prospects in US would be more as compared to job in Germany. The cost of education in Germany is very less as compared to universities in US but getting admission in German universities in very competitive, you need to have very good academic record to get admission in German universities. Dear Gautham, Thanks for posting your query. Both are good but depends on the candidate. USA is very expensive. Germany is not much expensive and very difficult to get admitted. With you profile of 8 cgpa you should try germany. Best wishes, Truematics

See usa is costly and germany is very cheap but there is a language barrier and job crunch in both the coutries. so its for you to decide.
