Which is a better subject history or political Science to select as an optional subject for CSE?

I am in my 12th class in arts stream-history, economics and political Science. I am equally interested in history and civics. I am planning to go for the civil exam by doing a B.A. Hons. Degree in either of the subjects.

As per my views, history will be better as compared to political science because history can be interesting and political science can get boring sometimes. However, as you said you are in arts stream I doubt you will not be eligible for CSE engineering because PCM is a must condition for the eligibi
