Hi there, Definitely LPU. Well, to me, LPU is one of the best things that has happened to me, be it from educational point of view or if I take the personality development into consideration. LPU is one of the leading private universities known so far, with best placement records. The quality of education is good so far. If you are an average student and worried about the standard of education in the university then you can cross that off from your list, as the education here is delivered properly, interactively and conveniently. LPU is the largest university of India with the belief of more than 25,000 students. It is situated in Punjab, India. It offers more than 200+ professional programs. In the recent NIRF rankings LPU has been ranked among top Universities in India. LPU alumni are now working in top companies of the world at leadership positions. University also has tie up with 200+ top universities of the world for student exchanges. The Campus of LPU, spread across 600 acres, has some architecturally striking buildings. The University's infrastructure is distinctive by its modern architecture with each building illustrating a unique picture of its utility. The campus has a cosmopolitan atmosphere with students from different parts of the globe. Lovely Professional University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India. It totally depends on you as well, how and what you want to do. If you can be a little attentive during lectures you are sure to get a hang of it, teachers make sure of that. Also, the level of technical education that we receive here is worthwhile. The course material is industry-oriented and is reviewed, modified and updated at regular intervals to keep us stay in sync with the current industry trends. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University I would say Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures (both national and international),placements ,accreditation, Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations,Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills.The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies.

Being a alumni of this University,I would say that it is a great university which every students are looking for. Be it studies, hangout places, infrastructure or extracurricular activities, this university has it all. LPU makes leaders who are not only thorough professionals but also good human beings with values. This is just one of the many reasons why it is consistently ranked no.1.My experience at LPU has been phenomenal. They have good faculty and good infrastructure.They provide very good study ambiance and are very up to date with latest developments.Overall culture in the university seems to be good. The diversity of students from different cultures and different countries offers a good learning bed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. Scholarship programs up to 100% for brilliant scholars-LPU provides scholarships to sports personnel, wards of Defence personnel like ARMY, NAVY, AIRFORCE etc apart from that LPU conducts LPUNEST where student can score good and can grab 50% scholarship. Hi. I can understand your concern about selecting a university .This confusion is always there in the mind of every student when he or she has to select the University for Studies. I do not know much about Amity university but definitely I can tell you about my alma mater where I have spent 5 years and transformed my life. Let me brief you for all these factors then you can decide to join LPU or not. LPU believes in the updated curriculum as it is taking feedback from the Industry people regularly through Board of Studies so that they can provide industry ready students to the corporates. I heard this before joining LPU but I actually felt this that they are teaching us the updated curriculum only. In every subject there was a unit for Contemporary issues. So it is a very good thing and it helped us a lot. Reading English newspaper on daily basis was mandatory for us. Entrepreneurship projects are also included in the curriculum which is a very important aspect. Faculty in LPU is very young and energetic and mostly everyone is pursuing Ph.D or majority of them have their doctorate degree. Learning from young and experienced faculty is a blessing. They do have faculty having experience of Industry which is an added advantage. Placements: In majority of the programmes placements are almost 100% and LPU is having a specific division named DCS (Division of Career Services) which helps the students for their placements. Students who are registered for placements are given various inputs as I got like Group discussions, Mock Interviews, Company specific inputs, Industry related inputs which help students to get job offers in big companies. And mostly MNCs or big IT Giants are coming to select the students with a very good package. Scholarships: LPU is renowned for giving maximum scholarships to the deserving students. I also got 40% scholarship when I joined LPU and it was a blessing as indirectly I was able to help my parents. Infrastructure is the best. CCTV cameras are there in the classes, Corridors and almost everywhere. Big lecture halls were amazing to attend classes. In every class ACs were there. Auditorium of LPU named Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium is the best and we loved to attend various event over there. Greenery all around, I must say LPUs Infrastructure is awesome.
