Which is a better university Amity or LPU?

Well in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University. LPU is a well renowned university, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. The students also work on live projects, so that they are able to apply their knowledge to practical settings. It is one of the few that has embraced international practices when it comes to designing a curriculum. Instead of using old school books and lectures, LPU has experimented with books, interactive problem-solving interactions and working through real-world applications. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements. LPU is conferred with National Employ-ability Award 2020 by Aspiring Minds for the 7th time in a row for having Most Employable Students and being one among the top colleges and universities in India with one of the highest Employ-ability rates.

Im a passout from LPU and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors and management. If I talk about Infrastructure, LPU's campus is one of the largest lush green campuses of India which is spread over 600+ acres. Gym, Hi-Speed 24 Hrs free Wi-Fi service, Swimming pool. Very good central Library of 6 floors and huge collection of text-books and reference books. The campus has its own hospital, hotel, and a mall. The classes are well-designed with all the latest amenities available. Another thing that I liked about the university was that it has some of the best teachers on board. Not only did they make the classroom sessions interesting, but they were also were very friendly and catered to any doubts I had about a particular topic. I had a great academic exposure during my time at LPU. Students here get to work on live projects because of which they are able to learn in depth about their subjects. They also get to attend the workshops and guest lectures during their time in the campus which actually help them gain valuable knowledge. LPU providing quality education, and have provided good rankings to the university on various parameters like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations, Tie-ups etc. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The students of LPU has been placed in the top companies with high salary packages. The placements have been divided as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from placements, many eminent companies approach LPU to hire students for internships. A Salary package of 42 LPA was offered by Amazon. The Centre for Professional enhancement of LPU aims at developing new skill sets to its students besides improving their existing skills and competencies.

Well if you ask me I would say there is no point comparing because both LPU and Amity University has their own story of glory and limitations. On one side where Amity University is famous for many branches. LPU is a younger a shining star in the ranking of Best Private University of India. Lovely Professional University's commitment to teaching excellence and providing the highest quality education to its students has once again brought laurels. The Ministry of Human Resource Department, Government of India has released NIRF Ranking 2020 and LPU appears in Top 100 in its most crucial Overall category, which includes IITs and Central Universities. LPU is also ranked 78th in the list of all the government and private universities of the country. University Engineering School is in the Top 100, Management School in the Top 50, and Pharmacy School in the Top 30 institutions of India. A new name as compared to others in the competition but a promising and a progressive university. Both the university have : The Lush Green, Pollution-Free Campus. Wide Range of Courses. Infrastructural Delight. Good Placements. Cultural & Extracurricular Activities. Word-of-Mouth. However I would say in LPU there is immense amount of exposure as well as academic-industry interactions happening throughout the year. LPU believes in overall grooming. The university also maintain a serene teacher student ration along with it the university pertains a thorough mentorship model that builds a stronger and effective working model. I can share my experience as I am a passout of LPU and I did my Mechanical Engineering from LPU while my best friend chose Amity. Just the difference was in regards to the total fee ( usually high in case of Amity and more over no such good facilities at that price). I would say LPU was way reasonable as I could complete my B.Tech in 4 Lacs with accommodation but in Amity it costed him about approximately 10Lakhs. On top of that in LPU I had the benefit of earning valuable scholarships and multiple career centric opportunities like industrial exposure, live projects, floor job training and study abroad. All this as a package was a justified and genuine bid. In short my experience with LPU was a worthy investment experience.
