BCA is good career option if you like the programming, databases, Networking etc. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. There are numbers of good colleges and University in India which offers BCA course but Which University is better It all depends upon the prospect of university/college that you are looking forward to like the curriculum and study, recruitment and placement rate and campus infrastructure and life. I would say, Lovely professional University is one of the most prestigious universities in India. It offers 200+ programs and courses at Diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. LPU is popular for its excellence in teaching and the infrastructure facilities the university possesses. I did post graduation from this University and I have few friends who has done BCA and currently they are working with MNCs with decent package. One of my friend told me that In BCA you will learn about some interesting subjects like Mathematics, Computer Programming, Computer Networking, Database Management Systems and, Software Engineering. Besides the core compulsory subjects, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects as their pathway elective or minor elective. The curriculum is revised occasionally to keep students up-to-date and industry ready. They give a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Don't miss out on that as in the end, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, are an integral part of the curriculum. You'll get many opportunities like coding events, hackathons and a lot more in LPU so that you can improve your skills, You will be able to achieve various certifications, which help you in getting better placements. Hello Jasmine, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommend that if you really want to make your career with a good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures, I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and the Decision for LPU was the best decision of my life. LPU gave me an extra edge in everything. During My graduation, My roommate was doing BCA and he is now placed in a shell oil company as a Database Engineer. As per his feedback, the computer application department is one of the finest departments of LPU. It is a UGC approved university which has been ranked highly by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its faculty, its placements, its teaching practices etc. The university provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. Students are given ample opportunities to work on live projects thereby giving them a chance to gain a lot of practical knowledge along with theoretical knowledge.
