Which is a better university for CSE: SRM, Chennai or Lovely Professional University?

As per my view, LPU is best university because of the curriculum, exposure and placements it is providing, no other university can beat it. LPU is renowned private university with more than 30,000 students and experienced faculty from various institutes. There are more than 250 courses which are offered by the University. B.Tech (CSE) is also one of the high in demand programme because of its following features: 1. Computer Science Engineering and Information Technology UG Programmes have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. Developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students is an important focus area throughout the duration of the programme. 2. Hi Sakshi, I have observed very less about SRM Chennai but still I know enough of SRM Chennai. My opinion is that LPU is step ahead. Both are private institutions and both are putting a lot of efforts but LPU is really a step ahead, with: 1. Curriculum, 2. Highly Qualified faculty members, 3. Industrial tie-ups, 4. Technology and Exposure, 5. Diversity, 6. Support to Entrepreneurs, 7. Good Placements. Compare yourself and take wise decision. All the best.

Hi, How do you compare universities? Here are some criteria: Curriculum: The curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since IT/CSE is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven; the tech programme must have the exposure and training. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are a must for any professional to succeed in a career. Industry interface: Ultimately, it's the industry that will immerse the students in the placements; the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days; personality, ethics, virtuousness, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. , are given high importance. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As the world shrink into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college helps enable the students to develop the right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, exposure to entrepreneurship is required. Dear Sakshi, I would say, Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. I think that you should go with LPU. The placement of LPU is very good.600+ companies visit the campus every year and almost 90% of the students got placed. Last year a girl placed in microsoft with a package of 42 LPA. The placement staff of LPU works very hard for bringing the company in the camp. LPU also have tie ups with foreign university that will help student to place in foreign universities. LPU campus is so lovely. The whole campus is under cctv. So no issue of security problems. Hostels are well maintained. Food is good for health. LPU also provide a sports ground with very experienced coach. The university is having a university-hospital which is free of cost for the students. Ambulance service is free for 24 hrs. Wi-Fi facility in all the hostels. Smart classroom. Whole university is online so you can do anything from your mobile. There is no compensation in studies, whenever a teacher on leave then the makeup classes will be arranged for the teacher. There are restriction on teachers also, they also have to take permission for late night entry. Apart from this, LPU also have clubs which will help you to enlighten your talent whether it is in singing, anchoring, acting, dancing or any other. You will get to know about diversity in India. Foreigners also live in LPU that will help you know about there culture. So BEST OF LUCK!
